is this before their defense goes on one of the all time great runs and if college football had any sense and a playoff they would have been crowned champions last year?
p.s. i was watching a meaningful niner game sometime this past decade, oh wait one doesnt exist |

how about when the 49ers won a playoff game against the giants in I think 04? maybe 03. something more than the cowboys can say.
and also, it's not hard to have an awesome defense when you play in the weakest BCS conference. |

02 actually, seems like an eternity ago. at least dallas fields a competitive team with an owner who actually wants to win minus all his other antics.
didnt the pac 10 go undefeated in bowl games and usc dominated penn state in the rose bowl. other teams play weak schedules and dont come close to the clinic usc put on. i guess we'll never know, and thats why college football will never be better than the nfl |
