I just hope we have enough people to keep going after this week. I really want to try to do themes again, but instead of doing a specific theme for a day, have a bunch of themes to choose from. I had a picture that someone made up of about 100 different themes and I'd like to see if I can use some.

Got another roll of Ilford developed yesterday and scanned last night.

Ya know what Im really pissed about. My girl dropped my Sigma 70-200mm Macro HSM lens in Chicago a year ago. Sigma wants $240.00 to fix it. I cant afford that and I want to use it as a macro lens. It almost works.

At 70mm blurred like a vignetting setting.
At 85 blurred from bottom to top pretty bad
At 100 pretty much the same
At 135 same but not so blurry
At 200 I can get it to focus but it has a small vignetting effect of blurriness near the edges

The aperture wont work through the camera, meaning if I take the lens off and open it to 2.8 then put it on the camera and try to adjust it, it wont move. Yeah it sucks. Such a nice lens too.

I carry my D90 around in a padded backpack and I accidentally dropped it from waist height last week. The hotshoe bent (fixed) but the through-the-finder display is completely gone. I usually use the top display anyway for aperture and shutter speed so it isn't a big loss, but it just reminds me how fragile this shit is.

I'm starting to rethink that replacement plan from bestbuy but im not sure how much is costs...

I bought an R-Strap a few weeks ago, and it's 1000000000x better than the one that came with it.

Edit: I got the strap that's just on one shoulder. All the rest of the shit are add-ons

My buddy Eric got me a watch for me birthday. Very nice. This was not in a lightbox. Straight shot on a glass table with the flash over the top of the watch. Tweaked a bit in lightroom.

Nope. Ambient light from a big window and a tv were on. It wasnt to bright in the room though but it wasnt black. I zoomed in a bit on the 18-200mm. Used the sb800 CL with a green gel over it. I tweaked the blacks, contrast and clarity in lightroom to get it more black. I used Nikon's CLS for the lighting.

edit: Oh I forgot that I was at iso 400, hence the graininess. That is why Im starting to hate the D80.
