So what is everyone on, if anything, and how is it working out for you? I'm pretty much taking advice from the gym rats here and seem to be doing ok.

My liver is probably shot, but I'm taking:

APS Forge
OneADay Men's Health
Milk Thistle
NOXplode
Isopure Protein

I've got a few more weeks on the first cycle. I haven't lost any weight, but then again I haven't been doing any cardio, but I've lost 4 inches off my waist and put an inch on each arm.

I take protein but I'm going to add some creatine and NOxplode. I used to take like 10 things at a time but really didn't see a huge difference. The key is a good diet and really pushing your muscles when you go to the gym.

I don't take any supplements myself.

Too paranoid about them, that and I think most of them are a crock of shit.

I just take Fish Oil and Glucosamine to help with my joints from the pounding they take from daily running. My brother (doctor) swears they won't really help me, but fuck it, even if it's placebo effect I notice my legs don't hurt NEARLY as bad as they used to prior to taking it. For the $10/bottle or so I pay for the Glucosamine (and it lasts for 5-6 months), why not?

A lot of people notice beneficial joint health effects from Glucosamine. An Omega-3 (fish oil) supplement is part of modern health 101 these days. The health benefits have been proven to be extremely positive. Not sure why your bro thinks they aren't good to take.

I take a protein supplement, multi vitamin, Omega-3 supplement, Glutamine powder (mix in with the shake), ZMA at night for recovery, and KreAlkalyn (alkalized creatine, absolutely amazing stuff)

IMO, NoXplode is a rip off... I tried it for 6 weeks and didn't notice any effect other than feeling jittery and like my heart was going to XPLODE. You can get the same results pounding an energy drink or coffee before working out.

Best solution is to read up. People can tell you what to take but your better off learning it so you don't ruin your body with some idiots bad advice.

I, personally, do protein and have done creatine. If you do creatine, learn how to use it, because most people don't know how to work it.

i started doing my own version of the South Beach Diet.. essentially i eat a small amount of carbs (15-30 grams) with a meal, but mostly just meat and veggies. i haven't taken my Novalog insulin since last Wednesday. it's pretty great. i exercise almost every day. i really like the difference. so far i've fought the urge to pig out lol. there's definitely a transition your body goes through getting used to cutting out a lot of carbs - no potatoes, rice, pastas, etc. but once you get over that hump, you kinda dont miss it.

not yet anyway.

i take Flax Seed Oil and occasionally a multi-mineral/vitamin.

Really?
I'd be afraid my sugar would absolutely crash the first night of not eating hardly any carbs.
How much Novalog did you take per meal before you started this diet?

Do you take Lantus? If so, how much did you take, and did that change with the new diet?

Edit: Also, do you have a link to anything that I could use to look at. Color me interested. If I could do without taking Novalog, and eat healthier, I'd be very interested. It's hard as balls to find foods that are carb-free and actually taste decent. What do you typically eat?
